How to recover the error NTLDR is missing in windows XP?
NTLDR is the main file of windows XP to boot it properly. You can
recover this file without installing the full windows XP. Follow the
given steps to recover the NTLDR file from windows XP CD.
First insert the Windows XP bootable CD into your CD-drive and reboot
your computer. When your computer prompted a message to press any key to
boot from the CD, press the any key.
Once in the Windows XP setup menu press the "R" key to repair Windows
and now log into your Windows installation by pressing the "1" key then
pressing enter.
Here you will be prompted for your administrator password, enter your
that password then copy the below two files to the root directory of the
primary hard disk. In the below example you are copying these files from
the CD-ROM drive letter "E" to drive c. This letter may be different on
your computer.
copy e:\i386\ntldr c:\
copy e:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\
Once copy both files, remove the CD and reboot your system.
