to create matrices in PowerPoint 2007?
PowerPoint allows its users to create and manage presentations and slide
shows. It is a very flexible tool which helps in adding text, images,
ClipArt, graphs, tables etc to a presentation. One of the useful tools
featured is to create matrices in PowerPoint 2007. This matrix tool is
updated in PowerPoint 2007. It is a component of the Smart Art tools. If
you create matrices in PowerPoint 2007, they can illustrate the data in
axes. You can demonstrate many options. You can create matrices in
PowerPoint 2007 presentation slides and then edit them to alter the
animation, color or design. Follow these steps to create matrices in
PowerPoint 2007:
Open
PowerPoint. Scroll to the slide to which you would like to add the
matrix.
Select the "Insert" tab. Click on the "Smart Art" button. This button is
a part of the Illustrations group.

The
Choose a Smart Art Graphic dialog box will appear. Choose "Matrix" on
the left hand side.

Select one of the three options for the style of the matrix from the
middle of the box and click OK.

Add
your text in text pane or the boxes of the matrix by clicking on the
"Text" option.
You can move whichever box of the matrix you want by clicking on it and
dragging it.
OR
Click
on a matrix box. Hold down the Ctrl key. By holding the key down, you
can move the box by using the arrow keys on the keyboard.
You
can alter the layout of the matrix as well. Right-click on the matrix
and choose the "Change Layout". You can also change the layout by
clicking on Layouts group in the Design tab of Smart Art tools.

You can create multiple matrices on one slide too. You have to set the
size of the matrices to make them smaller in order to fit them on a
single slide. You just have to follow the same steps as above.
