CCDA Certification
The CCDA is an ideal certification for those technical professionals who want to learn how to design simple routed LAN, routed WAN, and switched LAN networks. The CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate) is Cisco entry level (or Associate level) network design certification. CCDA certified professionals should, on completion of the certification, be able to design routed and switched network infrastructures involving LAN, WAN, and dial access services for businesses and organizations. The CCDA is valid for 3 years upon which a candidate will have to re-certify.
There are no pre-requisites for the CCDA exam, although it is recommended that candidates should preferably have the CCNA certification prior to commencement of the CCDA. This is not mandatory however, just recommended.
There is only one exam that is needed to gain CCDA certification Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions (640-861 DESGN). Go here for the full listing of CCDA exam objectives.
I hope you will find some useful information with the links below to free CCDA study guides, free CCDA practice exams and the like. Don't forget to check out the other Cisco pages on this site as much of the study material overlaps and you may find something of use on the other pages also. Regrettably I haven't enough time to cross-reference all of the links.
Don't forget to have a look at my studying tips section for advice on how to study effectively, memory improvement, speed reading etc. You may know it all already, then again, you may not.
My only other suggestion is that you get your hands on as many exam simulations that you can. Practice makes perfect so hammer away at those demo exams for all you're worth - it'll pay off in the end.
