An easy way to share images,
illustrations or photos is through PowerPoint. If you create a photo
album in PowerPoint 2007, you can add photos from any storage media
or hard disk. After you create a photo album in PowerPoint
2007, you can add captions to every picture as well as use the
several options of layout, frames etc. A theme can also be added
after as you create a photo album in PowerPoint 2007.
Follow these steps to create a photo
album in PowerPoint 2007 and then customize it:
Open
the PowerPoint application.
Select
the Insert tab.
Click
on the arrow under the Photo Album button and select the New Photo Album
option from the drop-down menu.
OR
Click on
the Photo album button.
The Photo Album dialog box will appear. Click on the
File/Disc button in the dialog box.
Select the pictures you would like to put in the album. These
pictures can be selected from your hard disc. It is possible to
include many pictures in the album all at once.
You can preview every image if you click on it. The order of
the photos can also be changed by selecting it and then clicking on
the Move Up or Move Down button.
The Frame shape can also be customized by
choosing one of the options in the Frame Shape drop-down menu.
Click on Create.
How to
Add Captions to the Photo Album:
Select every slide and add a title by typing in the place for
text on the top of the photo. Type the title you want for your album in
the place of the words of Photo Album.
Add a subtitle if you want in the Click to Add Notes section.
How to
Edit a Photo Album:
If you want to edit a photo album after you
have created it, follow these steps:
Choose the Insert tab.
Click on the arrow under the Photo Album button in the Insert
tab.
Select Edit Photo Album from the menu.
The Edit Photo Album dialog box will appear. Below Picture
Options, check the Captions below All pictures box.
Click on the Update button.
Edit the file names which appear under each
picture.
How to
apply a theme to the photo album:
Choose the Design tab from the ribbon.
From the Themes group, choose a theme of your choice from the
given options or from your computer.
The PowerPoint 2007 photo album has been
successfully created.
